Lee is a U.P. native and lifelong resident. He and his wife Teri have been involved with investment real estate for almost 15 years. In 2013, Lee joined Select Realty and by 2014, made the leap into ownership and is also the Owner/Manager of Select Realty’s Property Management division. From real estate asset management, to real estate portfolio building, Lee’s expert experience and extensive knowledge makes him the investment property guru at Select Realty. “Maximizing the income generating potential, overseeing the management of the property and making sure the overall fit for our clients investment strategy is what we do. We manage a large portfolio of properties for our clients, and it’s critical when investing in real estate that the buyer understands the entire equation – from purchase to management and especially tenant placement. These are answers that a real estate agent with little or no experience in investment strategy and asset management won’t be able to effectively provide to their clients. There are so many moving parts with investment real estate, that it is critical that you find the right agent/management team” says Lee. “Knowledge and experience are key to being successful with this side of real estate.” Lee has a unique perspective on investment real estate as being an owner of such himself. “I see it from both sides of the equation – one, as a property owner/investor, and another from a property manager point of view. Sometimes those answers aren’t the same – so its great to be involved in both sides and be able to provide our clients with the best all-around experience so they can make an informed decision on their investment opportunities.” Select Realty Property Management currently has over 500 tenants under its management. “Our job in property management is to protect the owners assets, find great tenants, and keep the property in tip-top shape to generate the highest rental return possible while increasing property value. We are big on maintenance! It’s the key to property management and good tenant retention.” Lee became a REALTOR® in 2013 and, in 2015, obtained his Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI) designation.
He is currently a member of the Michigan Association of REALTORS®, the National Association of REALTORS® and Upper Peninsula REALTORS®.
